This is a collaborative project made with artist Nina Frances Burke. Nina lives in Charlotteville, Virginia, and I live in France. We were able to trade found objects one of which was a full insulin pen and decided to make a political piece on US healthcare reform. The text interspersed with music and nature documentary footage throughout the video is from the last Facebook posts of ten Americans who died from rationing insulin.
